Welcome to 2010, the Year of the Kayaker!
Taking a lead from Chinese tradition, which names this year 4708 the Year of the Tiger, we have declared 2010 to be the Year of the Kayaker. Like the Tiger, the Kayaker is "powerful, gracious, independent, and brave," especially on water. The Kayaker takes risks and is always looking for excitement. The Kayaker is also instilled with a good dose of courage.

We are currently moving resources onto our rebuilt website. This will free space in our print magazine for more exciting articles and photos. In March, look for the results of our reader survey.
