ASK US A QUESTION

  • How do I get a password for an online issue?

The cost of the password for online issues is $2.00. A current subscriber can get the passwords to issues that correspond to his/her subscription period for free at any time. Passwords outside that period count as back issues. In the past, we have accommodated subscribers who want to backdate their subscriptions to a particular issue (within reason). We will be continuing this practice with the online version. For instance, if in May you wanted to get a year's subscription and backdate it to the beginning of the year, you would get the passwords to March and April, as well. Passwords to any issue can be obtained by anyone: just send a check for $2.00 to Atlantic Coastal Kayaker, 224 Argilla Road, Ipswich, MA 01938. Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope or your email address so we can send you the password.

  • Why have you stopped printing the magazine?

A rise in the cost of printing together with a general downturn in the publishing industry made it necessary for us to take this step in order to continue to provide our readers with the mix of local information, personal experience and other features that they have come to expect from Atlantic Coastal Kayaker. We had been considering the move for a number of years for the environmental benefits of having a paperless publication. In the future, we may reinstitute a limited printing for those who require a paper copy, with reduced rates for the online version. We are very grateful for our readers for standing by us during this experimental time.

  • I see you have started printing again.

We found that the majority of our customers prefer a magazine that they can hold in their hands. We have started offering an "On-Line Only" subscription option at a reduced rate.

  • I am a print subscriber, but would like to view the magazine on-line occasionally.

Print subscribers may ask for the password for any issue that they are entitled to receive by mail. The password will be emailed for free.
